Services

We look after dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets, from first vaccinations through to old age. Most treatment, including surgery and ultrasound, is done here at the clinic.

  • Consultations

A consultation is a full examination and time to talk through whatever is worrying you. We work by appointment, so neither you nor your pet is rushed.

  • Second opinions

If you’ve been told nothing more can be done, or you’re facing a big decision, we’ll look at your pet with fresh eyes and talk you through every option honestly.

  • Vaccinations

We vaccinate dogs, cats and rabbits, from first puppy and kitten courses to yearly boosters. Every vaccination starts with a check-over, so it’s a chance to ask about anything else too.

  • Neutering

We spay and neuter dogs, cats and rabbits in our own operating theatre, and talk you through every step, from the night before to the post-op check.

  • Dental care

A dental is a scale and clean under general anaesthetic, with any bad teeth removed at the same time. Most dentals are done in one session.

  • Surgery

Our experienced vets carry out almost all operations here in our own theatre, including orthopaedic surgery. We only refer to specialists for neurology and heart problems.

  • Diagnostics

When your pet is unwell, tests help us find out what’s wrong and choose the right treatment. We do blood tests, ultrasound and histology, and explain what the results mean.

  • Flea, tick and worm treatment

We’ll help you choose the right treatment for your pet’s age, size and lifestyle. We stock the main brands and sell many as single doses.

  • Weight clinics

Our diet and weight management clinics give your pet regular weigh-ins and give you a clear feeding plan. They suit pets who need to lose weight, gain it or keep it steady.

  • Microchipping

A microchip gives your pet a permanent ID, so they can be traced back to you if they’re ever lost. It only takes a moment, and registration is included.

  • Medicines

We’ll explain what your pet’s medicine is for, how to give it and what to look out for. Most medicines are priced per tablet, so you only pay for what’s prescribed.

  • End-of-life care

Saying goodbye to a pet is one of the hardest things you’ll do. We work by appointment, so we can give you time, explain each step and let you choose the aftercare that feels right.

Pet insurance

We’re a Vetsure-accredited practice and we work with all the leading pet insurers. Let us know when you book. We can get pre-authorisation before treatment and complete your claim form (£25).
